Strategic planning is key, if you wanna get the most out of your time here in Park City. If you don’t have a ticket package, there are single tickets, and if not those, there is always the standby waiting list. This year, there’s an app to cut down on the two-hour queue in the cold. But even with the app, you have to be ready to request your ticket on the e-wait list as they are released two hours before each screening.
And be sure to check out the panels and “conversations” at the various meet-up locations all around the Main Street area. It’s often an opportunity to get access to and insights from people who are much harder to get an audience with, outside of the festival bubble. This year’s offerings include programming by Kickstarter and Samsung VR, and topics like the newest workflows from the editors of Deadpool, and the inside scoop on Don Cheadle’s new biopic on Miles Davis, Miles Ahead. Power Of Story is presenting Evolution of Storytelling, that will be available to non-festival goers via LIVE STREAM at sundance.org. Enjoy!!!
P.S. If you are out-n-about, YukiYama is a fave go-to spot for lunch.
